Orienteering
Orienteering is an activity that’s perfect for groups. Adventurers learn the basic skills of pacing and compass reading. They then test their brand-new skills in a group setting by taking part in an exploration game.
Crate Climb
For young adventurers, crate climbing is the perfect alternative to abseiling. Your group will build a tower out of crates, then you are encouraged to climb as high as you feel comfortable with or to the top of the abseil wall. Climb one at a time and learn about safety within a game environment.
Rock Wall
Adventurers can climb as high as they choose on our artificial rock wall. Rock climbing is the perfect activity for improving strength, balance and flexibility as well as coordination.
Kayaking
If you love the water, kayaking is the perfect group activity for you. You and your group will be driven from Dare Adventures to the Murray River where you will have the opportunity to both learn and practice basic kayaking skills.

Adventurers can climb as high as they choose on our artificial rock wall. Rock climbing is the perfect activity for improving strength, balance and flexibility as well as coordination.
Raft Building
Raft building is a fun team activity that gets adventurers brains working overtime! As a team you will design and build a raft that will enable your entire group to stay afloat around the dam. It might sound simple, but you’ll be surprised at how much thought and work that is involved when you tackle this activity. Your team will need to focus on working together so they don’t get soaked!
Forest Ecology
After a short walk to the regeneration site, you’ll learn about our unique local forest habitat and the invasive species impacting it. Students will then get to help improve the forest health by identifying and removing invasive plant species. This is a hands on activity where the students get their hands dirty helping the forest
